Companies choose to communicate their message to their clients in a number of ways: companies embrace the power of video, some prefer static photographs, others embrace the connection of live content or podcasts to be more conversational.
Martin Critchlow from Critchlow Estate Agents came to us to discuss his ideas for connecting his company to his audience, and indeed to attract new customers.
We discussed many ideas, and potentially due to the social distancing / Covid-19 restrictions that have been upon us in 2020, the idea of animation really caught Martin’s plans.
As with every project, we broke things down into key sections of discovery, before we moved in to production:
- What is the purpose of the production?
- Who is the target audience?
- How will they receive the video?
- What is the key take-away you want from the production?
- How are we going to make it connect?
From here we moved things forward in a planning brief – including assigning the work to be carried out by Emotive Eye and the client.
Outline plans and conversations over an online production meeting lead to the creation of narrative and a script to tell the story of Critchlow Estate Agents and to allow us to introduce Martin to his viewers.
Animation and scriptwriting were all handled in-house at Emotive Eye, travelling to record and subsequently edit the voiceover with Martin at his office.
The production came together with ease – we understood the client’s brief, and took away all the stress, leaving our customer with a product they can use for an indefinite period.
Here is the finished production:
